D32 Open

Riding on the great success of its Open range, De Antonio Yachts presents a promising new walkaround, the De Antonio D32 Open. Born from an already winning DNA inherited from the previous, award-winning D36 Open, this new 9.9 meter comes strong with a now iconic family feeling, featuring the range’s classic styling cues: sharp, clean lines and hidden outboards to maximize space. Here, however, with something more than what we have seen so far.

De Antonio D32 Open

True to an important tradition, the boat features performance water lines, clean volumes and outstanding performance. These are all more than positive qualities, matched by remarkable on-board comfort, complete with underdeck spaces perfect for making it more than just a weekender. But let’s take a closer look at it.

Deck

Sharp edges, clean straight lines. Balanced, light volumes. As to be expected, the look of the D32 remains the range’s iconic and unmistakable one, an apt choice that continues and carries forward a now unique and particularly popular line.

Similar to the 36′, but here re-proposed in more compact dimensions (9.90 x 3.20 m), the deck layout proves versatile and complete, with areas that are well usable and whose ergonomics facilitate movement on board. Starting from the stern, past the outermost swim platform, there is immediately a double sundeck, characteristic of this range and covering the outboards, which reside, precisely, underneath. A solution that has earned wide recognition for the brand and that not only allows for significant maximization of on-board space, but also ensures an extremely streamlined look, yet without sacrificing the performance offered by the hidden engine torque.

Continuing further, there is a pair of sofas facing a central table, the latter of which can be used either for the entire length of the sofas, or only for portions of them, thanks to a hinged flap system that allows them to be closed partially or completely. A choice that also provides more room for movement, in case the convivial area does not need a particularly large floor. Newly introduced on this model, however, is the outdoor galley, set into the cabinet behind the three seats on the bridge deck. A welcome addition, allowing you to extend your outings with peace of mind.

De Antonio D32 Open – Cockpit Detail

Coming to the dashboard, all the necessary instrumentation finds its place here, providing a technological and complete picture, protected by a partial or internal windshield, in the version where this connects with the otherwise reduced and open hard top. Also here, there is access to the interior spaces, while beyond, set on the deckhouse, there is a second sundeck.

Moving the focus below deck, the D32 Open offers a total of 4 beds and a separate service. Spaces are composed in an ‘almost’ open space, with the entrance facing the forward lounge area, and two bunks taking their places instead aft, under the cockpit.

The bow triangle proves to be particularly versatile here, usable either as a living/living area or as a double bed through the simple extension of the sofa that occupies its space. Finally, in terms of storage and design, the spaces are all maximized, offering the most from every cm3 on board, while maintaining a clean, minimalist look in places, which overall creates these pleasant and bright areas.
