A new 18-meter, outboard, 2,400-horsepower motor yacht is coming.
It is called the De Antonio D60 and will be the new flagship of Spanish shipyard De Antonio Yachts.
The first units will be available by the summer of next year, 2025.

De Antonio Yachts D60

The Spanish-style walkaround for several years now has had a name, or rather a surname.
De Antonio.
The shipyard founded by Marc De Antonio and Stanislas Chmielewski over the years has grinded out a truly remarkable number of milestones, not the least of which is its collaboration with the America’s Cup to be held in Barcelona starting in August.
And meanwhile, between the design of a full-electric catamaran and a D37, D36 special version for Alinghi., there is also room for a new flagship: it is called D60 and is an 18-meter 2,400-horsepower, strictly outboard as per the brand’s philosophy, but hidden.
And it may turn the tables in a very intriguing high-end segment.

What does this 18-meter walkaround look like

The D60 is an XL walkaround with three clearly differentiated zones (bow, stern and central covered saloon).
Hidden outboards as usual allow for a true aft beach club, which if already on the D50 Coupe (read the test here ) and Open (read the test here) was remarkable, here it reaches its peak.
It is practically a solarium facing the sea with a table with a central ice bucket.
Behind it, also outdoors, is a table that can seat more than 10 people while still being sheltered from the sun.
The bow is modular and changes from a simple sundeck to a sofa with tables.
As seen on the D50, there is the possibility of having an integrated hot tub by sliding the sun deck roof.
A “superyacht” solution for those who can resist the allure of a nice swim in the sea. The central area has a hard-top structure, fully glazed for those seeking an area over which to have maximum climate control.
Useful in the winter, but potentially very hot in the summer without air conditioning, although the large side windows and sliding rear doors, allow you to open and bring air inside.
In any case, the outdoor spaces, including the shaded one, are more than sufficient.
Fancy indulging in lunch and dinner?
If you want on De Antonio Yachts ‘ D60 between the main deck and below deck there is an “independent” space that can be the “galley” area or fully integrated with the interior spaces through sliding doors and access openings.

Deck salon

The lower deck interior suggests to us a more cruiser attitude for this model than the others.
The master stateroom will have a sofa, desk, full bathroom with separate shower and dressing room, as well as a double bed.
For guests there are two separate cabins or one large cabin.
Next to the forward cabins is a courtesy bathroom that doubles as a guest bathroom.
With independent access from the bow, we find the crew cabin with two bunks and its own bathroom.

How much does the De Antonio D60 go?

The four engines Mercury V12 600-horsepower enable sporty performance with a top speed of more than 45 knots and a fuel-efficient cruising speed around 30 knots.
This 18-meter powerboat is made by infusion lamination technique and developed for high performance.
Its design enables efficient long-distance sailing and agile and sporty coastal cruising.
The first unit of the new D60 will be available in the summer of 2025.
