For many, the end of summer also means garaging their boat. Whether it is at the end of summer or a little later, winterizing the boat after the summer season is a task that involves almost all boat owners. It becomes very important, then, to choose the right marina to keep your boat at its best during the winter, and perhaps even experience it when not at sea.
Marina Punta Gabbiani is located in the Marano Lagoon, a wildlife oasis rich in greenery just a few miles from the beautiful Croatian coast. This marina has three hundred berths in the dock and another three hundred berths in the dry marina. The dry marina service allows boats from 7 to 18 meters to be kept ashore, laid out as if they were at sea thanks to an elevated dry dock , equipped with all the amenities of an in-water dock. In fact, you will find electricity, WiFi connection, drinking water and black water suction available for all individual berths in the marina. This solution allows the boat to be experienced year-round, without having to keep it at sea and thus exposed to greater risks, but conveniently reaching it by car and parking at the foot of the hull.
In this marina you will find plenty of opportunities to have fun and relax when you are not at sea, which even the little ones will enjoy. For starters, the two large heated pools are open year-round and equipped with geothermal water whirlpools. Marina Punta Gabbiani activates free of charge for its customers courses in yoga, aqua aerobics and the Mini-club for children. Plus lots of green areas and spaces, with children’s playgrounds and sports equipment for all tastes, for example you can take advantage of the bike-sharing service (including electric bikes) and ride around the surrounding area.
