E-Next by Ernesto Riva: this new electric boat is completely wooden made.

It’s been a year and a half since we first told you about Ernesto, the handmade wooden boat with a little something extra. Being completely electric. The international success of this model was followed by the Elettra, a sustainable taxi boat. Now the shipyard Ernesto Riva has decided to focus on a model designed for pleasure boating with E-Next, the third electric boat signed Ernesto Riva.

E-Next Ernesto Riva: here is the new boat

E-Next is ready to make its debut in 2021, but the elegance of this boat already emerges from the design by Frers studio. It is in fact the naval architect Germán Mani Frers, who with Daniele Riva and the company ER Innovation, is developing this model.

The nautical archistar had already actively participated in the projects of the Ernesto Riva shipyard, which is about 250 years old. Today the shipyard is moving towards eco-sustainable yachting, without forgetting two and a half centuries dedicated entirely to wooden boats.

Elegance and sustainability, all made in Italy. This is the goal of the shipyard. A new chapter in the range of electric boats born from the creativity of the Frers studio and the ability to work with the wood of Ernesto Riva’s craftsmen. To this is added great freedom for the owner in the customization of the boat. The shipyard, therefore, brings forward the mix of technology and craftsmanship of the best tradition to build a unique boat. Details on E-Next, about the length and propulsion, have not yet been released.
