Goodbye to biocides in your antifouling: now you can apply eco paint, and dog’s teeth, algae and silt will be taken care of by a drone on a periodic basis. Science fiction? No, concrete project already in place. It is called Green Keel Pack and you can test it for free.

Boero Group, a leader in boat paint products (its brands include Veneziani), in collaboration with KeelCrab, a brand of underwater drones produced by the company Aeffe, are launching Green Keel Pack: the pilot project that will revolutionize boat cleaning and maintenance.

Become a tester for the Green Keel Pack project

Born from the constant search for environmentally friendly antifoulings, Green Keel Pack is, in fact, offering the first 25 shipowners to apply to test the new products included in the pack on their boats free of charge. Participating is simple, just sign up at the website
https://consultancy.keelcrab-network.com/test_antivegetativa
and those selected will receive Boero Group’s biocide-free Eco Hull Paintantifouling and hull cleaning service performed with the KeelCrab underwater drone, for which the paint was specially designed.

Once the antifouling is applied, a trained operator will perform a cleaning cycle, carried out every two months with the underwater drone, without the need to move the boat, ensuring that the paint is maintained in an optimal state.

The advantages

The benefits of combining these two innovative products are considerable, starting from constant prevention from algae and dogtooth, for a consistently clean hull, to underwater monitoring of hull condition. All this while ensuring a reduced environmental impact through the use of biocide-free paint and gentle brushes with which the drone is equipped that can not remove the paint but preserve it over time, going to work only on the vegetation or upper derivatives.
