quick new line

More power, lower fuel consumption, and, above all, increasingly integrated electronics. Quick Group expands the QSY lineup and introduces Pacific and QCentric, two new products that move maneuvering systems toward more digital and connected management.

New QSY Maneuvering Propellers

In a market where maneuvering propellers are no longer just about thrust—but where precision, quiet operation, fuel efficiency, and the ability to interface with the rest of the onboard electronics also matter—Quick is taking on the challenge once again and expanding its QSY line.

At the heart of the system are brushless synchronous motors, a technology that delivers high efficiency along with immediate torque response. Integrated inverters and native proportional control round out a system designed to offer greater precision during maneuvers, consume less energy, and require less maintenance.

Quick QSY propellers

The lineup now covers a particularly wide range. It ranges from the QSY 140-50, powered by 12 V and capable of 50 kgf of thrust, to the 48 V QSY 300-350, with a maximum thrust of 350 kgf.

One of the most interesting new features is the new 215-mm tunnel, which falls between the previous 185-mm and 250-mm sizes. This may seem like a technical detail, but it’s important for shipyards because it allows them to identify the most suitable configuration for each hull with greater precision.

Flexibility is also enhanced by the various power supply options, with 12/24 V and 24/48 V configurations depending on the model. The goal is clear: to use the same technology on a wide range of vessels, from dayboats about 7 meters long to superyachts 30 meters and longer.

New Pacific Control Interface

The second new product is called Pacific, and it is the new control interface developed by Quick Group to fully harness the potential of the QSY series.

Quick Pacific

Available in T1, T1XL, and T2XL versions, it is designed to simplify installation and make propeller management more intuitive. Another interesting feature is the ability to integrate it with control systems from other manufacturers, including Volvo Penta, Mercury Marine, and Xenta, through dedicated gateways and NMEA 2000 communication.

Qcentric: Quick’s new “digital architecture”

The other major innovation on display at the Cannes Yachting Festival is Qcentric, a fully-fledged digital architecture designed to connect Quick Group’s various products. And not just propellers: the idea is to eventually integrate stabilizers, windlasses, and other Group equipment, while also opening the door to external partner systems.
