She is the flagship of Pardo Yachts’ cruising range. She is called the Pardo Endurance 72 and incorporates, on a larger size, all the main strengths of the E60, Cantiere del Pardo’s first historic motor cruiser. Its debut is expected at the Palm Beach Boat Show where, after all, many other shipyards have also decided to show their boats to the world for the first time. Pardo Endurance 72
We had already told you a bit about this yacht from the very first leaked images about it. What’s so special about it? It is one of the few models for long stays on board that manages to combine attractive design on large dimensions without forgetting livability on board. When cruising, the boat must be, first of all, very comfortable. If it also doesn’t look like a fiberglass “cube,” all the better.
Here, the E72 definitely succeeds in this rather difficult task. Call it “made in Italy,” call it aesthetic taste or whatever, but this boat is to the eye pleasing. The inverted windshield, the broken line of the gang boss and hard-top give dynamism to the line as does the inverted bow.
All appearance? Negative! Look at the salon below. It is a whole of galley, dining area, aft cockpit, and so far, you will rightly say, nothing new. True. But if you look closely, there is a huge side window that opens completely and, thanks to the fold-down deck, creates a kind of “flying” beach area on the right broadside. The whole thing is connected to the cockpit, which also extends its “sphere of influence” toward the bow.
Imagine getting up in the roadstead for breakfast and finding yourself in such a situation. Not bad, right? And then on top of that is a 27-square-meter flybridge, too. What more could you want?
Interiors
Let’s go to the heart of E72. Collaboration with the Burdisso Capponi studio resulted in all the interiors, from the main deck to the sleeping area. There is a midship staircase that leads to the day bath and the aft master and VIP suites. In the bow, however, it leads directly to two cabins with twin beds.
Technology and comfort. A number of very interesting solutions have been studied on board the Endurance 72, such as the air-conditioning passage, hidden under the sails of the canopies, and the dual-type lighting that represents another new element of the boat: the first, more diffuse, is achieved through the arrangement of LED bars according to an intermittent pattern that generates an interesting texture of the canopy. the second makes use of pairs of spots positioned under the canopy lowers.
The shipowner of dreams
Entering the master stateroom, we encounter a table with built-in hideaway TV that separates between the entry/wardrobe area and the sleeping area. To the left, an amber-colored double glass door opens to the bathroom with double sinks and allows light from the windows to reach the cabin. The toilets and shower, aft and forward of the washbasins respectively, are also separated by bright glass partitions.
