object as seemingly mundane as theparasol, so mundane that its present form is the same as that of the earliest examples, can actually be revolutionized. A Florence-based company, Garden Art, has come up with an innovative patented technology that can change the boat umbrella as we have always thought of it.

Here’s how it works

The great invention of Garden Art, which under the brand name Yachtingline manufactures marine umbrellas, is the Multivalve® System canopy. Thanks to its patented design, it is able to provide greater stability to the parasol on deck, allowing your yacht to maintainaerodynamics and preventing hot air from building up under the structure. As the wind passes through the umbrella thanks to the “perforated” or alternating-section canopy, you will not see the structure sway because thesail-effect will not be created (except to a minimal extent), and the air will heat up less because it will not stagnate under the canvas.

Perfect for large motor yachts

The product designed by Yachtingline is great on any type of boat, but it is particularly suitable for powerboats and especially large yachts. There are many possibilities for customizing umbrellas with Multivalvola® System canopies. Models vary in height of structure, size of canopy, materials of supports, types and colors of fabrics that have different characteristics from each other. You can contact Yachtingline directly and have them recommend the best umbrella for your boat, based on your needs and the materials/colors already on board!
