Evo Yachts is a shipyard that, as the name suggests, makes EVOlution a key focus, and the new project is certainly no exception. We are talking about EVO CC, Center Console. This yacht is the latest idea born from the mind and hand of designer Valerio Rivellini and will be launched in the coming weeks.
Two words can suffice to describe EVO CC, “intelligent adrenaline,” which starts with the engine. The engines represent the first major novelty because they will be outboards – Mercury Verado – although perfectly in line with the shipyard’s philosophy: exceptional acceleration without sacrificing comfortable and quiet sailing. In this respect they are Mercury Verado’s are comparable to Tesla’s cars, although, unfortunately, the “marines” are not electric.
Performance is not only about speed, but also about the conveniences of Evo yachts, which uses the principles of home automation to connect ease of use and quality of navigation. In a nutshell, the shipyard uses the latest technology to make the boat smart, easy to use, and touch screen friendly. In the case of Evo 43, a unit produced by the shipyard, all it takes is a phone, tablet or controls on the console to have all on-board functions in hand.
EVO CC’s design does not shy away from the logic of performance in comfort, and so here is equipped a large aft cockpit with sundeck and carbon T-Top, which shelters the three center console stations. Below deck, the space is entirely devoted to smart functionality, with a dinette that can transform into a four-person “cabin.” The outer lines are designed with a deadrise angle of 18°, and therefore not overly sporty, to have maximum tightness and safety even in the most formed sea. Here again we find further confirmation of EVO CC’s essence of speed and performance without sacrificing comfort: in short, intelligent adrenaline .
