Evo Yachts
, the brand owned by the Caserta-based shipyard Blu Emme Yachts, established in 2013 as a luxury yacht refitting and outfitting company, is attending the Cannes Yachting Festival 2023 with a world premiere: Evo R+. This new 18-meter revolves around two of the cornerstone concepts of the R line: conviviality and versatility. Sporty yet functional, Evo R+ features an enclosed deck and an innovative aft platform, making it ideal for long stays aboard in total comfort.
Evo R+
With a modern, minimalist look and lines inspired by the world of luxury sports cars, Evo R+ is a nearly 18-meter yacht with a width of 5.31 meters, designed for long stays on board. The enclosed deck and the considerable height of the interior spaces, designed by the shipyard in collaboration with Valerio Rivellini, ensure a very high level of comfort.
The black aluminum deckhouse, with some angular, geometric shapes, emphasizes the appeal of the sporty profile reminiscent of supercar design. The command post is completely surrounded by windows: bright and refined, like the entire Main Deck, it offers 360-degree panoramic views, with openings inviting natural ventilation. Coolness, even in summer, is still provided by a powerful air conditioning system.

Evo R+ – Blanket
The living area, with a versatile lounge, a fully equipped galley along the starboard side, and a dining table on the port side completes the main deck. A second galley has been designed in the Lower Deck, equipped with a large wine cellar cabinet and a large refrigerator, but the owner can also opt for a single galley on the main deck, which is larger than the one on the model exhibited in Cannes, by moving the dinette below.
The aft area contains a very large sundeck, which can be converted into a table, and a large bar cabinet equipped with a refrigerator, icemaker and a large sink. Special and innovative is the aft platform, equipped with a seat that descends into the water in solid with it. Also on this model from Evo Yachts we find the shipyard’s trademark Xtensions sideboards, which a system of rototranslating planes allows the surface area of the stern area to be extended without knocking down the bulwarks.
Interior and cabins
Below deck we find the essential style, with clean, simple and square lines of the shipyard. Warm fabrics, such as alcantara, have been chosen for the interiors, and the palette is based on a harmony of three colorsand materials: white, teak and carbon.
Peculiar are the hexagonal-shaped light switches , which look more like decorative design elements than functional objects. Motorization is entrusted to 2 IPS 950 Volvo Penta engines. Expected performance is around 33 knots for maximum and 27 knots for cruising speed.
