Founded as a manufacturer of electronic components, today it supplies the world’s largest construction sites
MZ Electronic was founded in 1993 as an electronic equipment design and development company. In the years of nautical development, the company increased its product range: battery chargers, charge distributors, bilge switches and, of course, winch accessories.
In 2008, MZ Electronic began collaborating with ORVEA, creating the Italwinch anchor windlass brand. In 2021, MZ Electronic then also acquired Progetto Elica (SBM), a firm specializing in the calculation, design, and production of custom submerged and surface propellers, shaftlines, and rudders for vessels up to 150 feet in length.
MZ Electronic’s success stems from continuous product research and innovation thanks to the synergy it has established with its customers over the years.
The company still also designs, develops and manufactures electronic boards for the marine market, for various applications, from software, to the case of the board itself.
With the acquisition first of the Nanni shipyard and then of Progetto Elica, the company is constantly evolving and has managed to combine standard products, the result of Italwinch brand experience, with fully customizable products.
In fact, today the Italwinch range has more than 30 families of mooring-related products, a full range of electronic accessories and the ability to create on-demand solutions in both the electronic and mechanical fields.
HOISTS LINE CL
The CL line is Italwinch’s new range of products made entirely of A/SI 316 stainless steel for boats up to 16 meters.
They support all major types of chain on the market and also have the ability to handle three-timber top (top-chain). The CLS line can be motorized with three different options up to 1000W. The CLP line is designed for boats over 10 meters, with motorization up to 1500W.
CC011 METER COUNTER
The CC011 meter counter is slim and compact, great for installation on systems that already have winch controls but do not have a chain counter. Easy to install and compatible with every type of winch on the market, it can display the size of chain lowered in meters or feet. The product only has the function of meter counter, it does not control the windlass.
