FC-Yacht, a Cagliari-based Free Charter Group company with more than 20 years’ experience in the charter world, is the official dealer for Italy of Aquila Power Catamarans, a Sino-American brand created through a partnership between Sino Eagle Group and MarineMax. With two bases in Sardinia and a dealer in Liguria, it offers a full range of motor catamarans from 28 to 70 feet, both for sale and for charter. The latest of these, Aquila 42 Yacht was designed by the well-known French studio VPLP and offers, in just under 13 meters in length, habitability unthinkable on monohull boats under 50 feet. “But what further distinguishes Aquila 42 Yacht from other competitors,” stresses Carlo Orione, CEO of FC-Yacht, “is the design and quality of the equipment and materials that bring it closer to high-end motoryachts. Everything is designed to be elegant and at the same time comfortable, just think that the width is 6.40 meters, only one meter less than the Aquila 54, which is 12 feet longer.” If the initial investment, and running costs, of buying a boat are a drag for many potential owners, FC-Yacht offers an attractive Rent-to-Buy formula, where the customer pays a down payment equal to 20-30% of the purchase price and agrees to pay a monthly fee that entitles him or her to use the boat for twelve weeks a year with the option, after seven years, to become the full owner. During the months in which the boat is not in use, it will be Free Charter’s responsibility to rent it out so that mooring, maintenance and insurance costs can also be met.
