Like a 5-star resort aboard Fountaine Pajot
French luxury cruising giant raises the bar with an offering for even the most discerning shipowners
Founded in 1976, Fountaine Pajot is the world’s leading manufacturer of luxury catamarans. This French shipyard, known mainly in the charter world, has shifted its production in recent years to a more shipowner dimension, offering some models designed for a very demanding clientele, with a higher quality of finish and different layout customizations. Its hulls, with a design that speaks Italian thanks to an established collaboration with Pierangelo Andreani’s studio, range from 11 to 20 meters. There is room both for those looking for a smaller, sportier catamaran, such as the MY4.S, a family cruising catamaran, such as the MY5 and MY6, and a true seaside villa with every comfort and luxury, such as the flagship Power 67.nLength 19.69 m, the Power 67 differs from the rest of the Fountaine Pajot line, not only in its on-board spaces, which are extremely spacious, but also in its design: it is the only one in the range to have been designed by the pencil of Berret-Racoupeau, a famous French naval architect specializing in fast, high-performance boats. In fact, power this motor catamaran has plenty of it, reaching incredible cruising speeds (up to 20 knots) with the two 300-horsepower engines (optional 450 hp). The range, on the other hand, is 1700 nautical miles, with a fuel tank of 4000 liters. Also not to be forgotten is the incredible 360-degree view offered by the panoramic windows located throughout the hull of the catamaran. High-quality design, finishes, and natural light to illuminate the interior further enhance relaxation and comfort on board. It almost feels like a 5-star resort, complete even with a jacuzzi on the bow.
