The FCV-600 and FCV-800, 5.7″ and 8.4″ respectively, are Furuno’s latest fishfinders and incorporate all-new features built on Furuno’s award-winning technologies. In fact, they integrate the power of TruEcho CHIRPTM with a set of revolutionary identification technologies to distinguish fish from other structures, such as seafloor or wreckage. With the FCV800 fishfinder, TruEcho CHIRPTM and CW (continuous wave) probes can be combined in order to use the functions: TruEcho CHIRPTM, ACCU-FISHTM and Bottom Discrimination. If then traditional CW (continuous wave) fishfinders transmit a signal composed of a single frequency, CHIRPTM fishfinders give a linear frequency modulated signal, a wave with a frequency that increases over time. That’s why with Furuno’s TruEcho CHIRPTM you see more detail and unprecedented target separation. In addition, the ACCU-FISHTM size assessment function, identifies individual fish immediately: echo returns are analyzed by strength and displayed on the screen according to size (from 10 to 199 cm, at depths between 2 and 100 meters). With the Bottom Discrimination function, the fishfinder indicates whether the bottom is composed of rocks, gravel, sand, or mud, providing valuable information to locate rich fishing areas and increase catches. Finally, the two models use RezBoost™: this is an innovative Furuno signal processing technology that improves resolution and target separation.
FCV-600 || FCV800
Furuno’s FCV-600 and FCV800 both come in a sleek black-colored design, with convenient rubber buttons and a sturdy dial controller. / soft-touch keys are tilted up and down so that they are comfortable to press and easy to use. It is possible to install a second display for those who want more stations to display echo and navigation data from the FCV-600 and daN’FCV-800 via the built-in wireless network. With simplified installation, this powerful solution enables continuous monitoring of the underwater situation while fishing from the stern or bow.
