Water on board has never been easier to produce
Thanks to the Milan-based company, which now operates in all major nautical markets around the world
Founded in 1995, HP Watermakers manufactures a wide range of manual, semiautomatic and fully automatic desalinators capable of producing desalinated water from 35 up to 10,000 l/h using all standard AC voltages. Its main mission is to make onboard water supply simple for everyone through the ease of use of the machines it creates and makes. In fact, the HP Watermakers brand is ISO 9001 certified and manufactures 1 80 percent of its machine components in the 3,000-square-meter facility located on the outskirts of Milan, where up to 1,000 units can be produced each year. Throughout its history, the company has always been at the forefront and has patented important technological innovations, such as RP TRONIC automatic pressure regulation, AMCS automatic membrane preservation system, to energy recovery solutions. In 2017, he launched HP BiBi for remote control of the desalinator, a system that extracts and records diagnostic data such as shutdowns, turn-on, working time, pressure, and alarms. HP was also the first to develop its own proprietary interface, Part-NET from 2019, compatible with on-board electronic systems from various brands such as Raymarine, Garmin, Furuno, Simrad, B&G and Lowrance. Today, HP Watermakers is a technology 4.0-oriented company and even on board fully realizes the concept of sustainability in resource use, both from a technical and technological point of view (Danfoss pumps, custom membranes, and proprietary platforms) and from the point of view of spare parts limited in both frequency and quantity.
SCA500
Unveiled at the Cannes Yachting Festival, the new watermaker offers high standards for production, low consumption and small size. It is called SCA500 because 500 is the l/h it is can produce while consuming only 3 KW of energy, half as much as its competitors with the same production capacity.
RP TRONIC
Restyling after 20 years for the system, which has not aged at all and has been a watershed between manual and automatic desalinators: it allows fully automatic management with more proper maintenance for a longer operating life by having the desalinator interface with on-board plotters.
HP KILO
It is the ideal solution for having plenty of fresh water on yachts from 35′ to 50′. Created to solve the problem of consumption strutta an innovative solution: it is a 220V watermaker that, consuming only 1 kWh can continuously produce 120 l/h of fresh water. The dimensions are also compact: 840 x 455 x 420 (h) mm.
SEA0SPOT
It is the innovative machine that combines the function of a desalinator with that of MWT Basic, a softening and nanofiltration system that transforms port water into fresh water on board. It is also applicable to all desalinators even in retrofit. In size it is identical to any HP desalinator to which are added a solenoid valve and software with increased functionality so as not to revise engine room designs.
