A high-end port to discover Puglia and beyond
A real gem, increasingly appreciated by boaters for its location, quality and quantity of services offered. The Marina of Brindisi, a symbolic place of the city is nestled between the island of Sant’Andrea and the Forte a Mare Castle. It is easily accessible from both the train station and the airport, the gateway to Salento. The marina, which is part of the Marinedi network, represents a kind of natural extension of the “middle harbor” of Brindisi, an inlet that has no equal in Puglia.
The port
It is a modern, constantly evolving facility that has become a landmark in the south-central Adriatic. An important achievement, unimaginable until a few years ago, which was achieved through an intelligent division of tasks within the Board, aimed at respecting the Marinedi ports’ “one brand, one standard” philosophy, of which the Brindisi Marina is a part. The goal is to provide more security, more services, more assistance to boating activities and more entertainment for guests. The efforts made have led to encouraging results that have had obvious market impacts in terms of waterfront occupancy for both annuals and transient boaters. Recognition gained also at the international level evidenced by obtaining the Five Anchors, the Blue Flag and the exclusive agreement with the German nautical portal ADAC Skipper. “To all this must be added the results achieved on the side of sports events. In fact, the traditional Brindisi-Corfu and Brindisi-Valona regattas were joined by the Vela Cup and the National Offshore Sailing Championship. And then the appointment of Snim, the Puglia Boat Show. Brindisi continues its path of internationalization and becomes more and more a reference point for national and international yachting,” explains Marina di Brindisi President Claudio Gorelli. CEO, Dario Montanaro, adds, “We invite everyone to come to the Brindisi Marina, but to ensure optimal reception and organization, we suggest using our qualified reservation system. For summer 2024, from May to September, 97 percent of berths are in fact already booked. A result that rewards us and encourages us to do better and better.”
