MarineCork is 100% natural in that it is made from the barks of the oak Quercus Suber; the exfoliation of the bark does not require the tree to be cut down, it strengthens the oak generating more bark by stimulating it to absorb more CO2. Attention to detail and the continuous search for improved solutions have enabled MarineCork to meet important construction sites, providing technical and aesthetic solutions that only cork allows. MarineCork is therefore a solution that has several unique features such as extraordinary light weight and excellent grip: the wetter you get, the more grip increases. It is then a fire-resistant material, self-extinguishing by nature and does not propagate flame. It is heat-insulating and sound-absorbing, and in fact allows cabins to be insulated from noise and temperature changes. It is comfortable and does not get hot underfoot, making the deck livable even at high temperatures. And still it does not stain, has very high mechanical strength and is a long-lived and easy to maintain material, certified by Rina, Certimac, Tec-Eurolab. That is why MarineCork can be installed in any vessel and is offered in ready-to-install solutions as well as panels and slats.
