Xenta part of the Quick Group provided the electronic control systems for the futuristic Bolide 80
Xenta’s signature integrated systems-the Quick Group’s innovation workshop that designs integrated hardware and software systems for steering, trim control, and maneuvering yachts and superyachts-are installed aboard Bolide 80, the sport boat designed by Brunello Acampora, founder of Victory Design, progenitor of the Hyper Muscle Yachts generation. Just Bolide 80, an innovative all-carbon boat, has redefined the world of fast boats. So much so that after being nominated in no less than 5 categories, it won the Outstanding Exterior Design award at the Boat International Design & Innovation Awards 2024. Then again, it is the fastest yacht in the world, a unique boat in terms of environmental impact as well: it consumes half as much as a fly bridge unit of the same length by being twice as fast. It has a cruising speed of 55 nodie maximum over 70: incredible performance for a yacht 25 meters long overall. Xenta collaborated in the study and design phases with Victory Design and through the know-how built up over the years contributed to the success of Bolide 80. Specifically on board we find: X-POWER, Xenta’s integrated throttle and motor system, which is also easy to use in the specific trimotor installation with a center thruster as a booster; X-DOCK, an integrated joystick system for performing and facilitating complex maneuvers easily and with maximum precision; X-SIDE, a maneuvering propeller control system to facilitate movements in restricted waters; and X-STEER, helm by wire steering in its most advanced version, Tactile Helm.
