Since 1960, he has been designing and producing innovative systems
SAN GIORGIO S.E.I.N. also partners with leading shipyards and engine manufacturers
SAN GIORGIO S.E.I.N. is an Italian company founded in Genoa in 1960 that designs, manufactures and customizes sensors, instruments and automation systems for marine applications, always seeking the most advanced performance and quality standards. SAN GIORGIO S.E.I.N. developed and previewed at the Genoa Boat Show the first integrated monitoring system based on microprocessor technology for marine application. Then in the 1970s it expanded its product range with the first capacitive reed level sensor on the market and new exhaust gas temperature measurement and engine control units. Thanks to the know-how acquired, it is chosen by Veglia Borletti as a partner for the development and production of the new VSG “Gabbiano” line of instruments for recreational boating. SAN GIORGIO S.E.I.N. is a partner of leading shipyards and engine builders, and with the same passion as for the past fifty years, it makes instruments equipped with the most advanced technologies of TFT display, IOT remote control, integration of new protocols and regulations. Its wide range of products is complemented by rudder angle / trim indicators, special OEM instruments and RINA / MED approved chart plotter navigation systems. For efficient design, product validation, and internal R&D in 2019, SAN GIORGIO S.E.I.N. will open a laboratory to conduct various control tests to ensure that all systems designed and produced meet quality standards.
UNS20100
The dual or single engine converter converts the J1939 protocol from engine ECUs into NMEA2000 signal for connection of plotters and/or state-of-the-art embedded systems. Installation for two motors requires no configuration.
LEVEL PROBES
The company designed the first level probe in reed technology in 1970 and has not stopped improving the quality of this product since then. Made for marine use from AISI 316 stainless steel, the vertical level sensor utilizes numerous features that make it unique. Compatible with gasoline, diesel and water. Available with standard VSG calibration (300-10Q), European (10-1800), tubular (0-900), American (240-302) or NMEA2000 output.
MULTIFUNCTION TACHOMETER
With RINA approval, they are designed to measure key engine parameters. They offer “DirectDigital” microprocessor technology, high-precision and reliable stepper motors, LED backlighting, extended power supply, and analog/CAN Bus support. They are available with a new removable satin-finished aluminum ferrule for front mounting.
UNS10193
The new multifunction display offers a 7-inch touch screen display with integrated ambient light sensor and special software designed for visibility in any light and operating conditions. A selection of analog inputs and digital outputs allows direct acquisition of measurement sensors without additional signal converters. Two CAN Bus J1939 ports, one also compatible with the NMEA2000 standard, can be used to interface multifunction navigation systems.
