Venice Certosa Marina

The marina for experiencing Venice and its lagoon

Venice Certosa Marina is the ideal port to enjoy the experience of experiencing Venice with your boat and to be able to participate in the city’s events. Such as the ICOMIA World Marinas Conference that the Marina will host in October 2025.

The port

The Venezia Certosa Marina is equipped for the mooring of vessels, boats or pleasure craft up to 70 meters in length and 8 meters in draft. The moorings, set up on floating docks equipped with every amenity, are naturally redoxed by the prevailing winds and tide. The port offers specialized technical services for hauling and maintenance of any vessel, deck equipment, engines and on-board systems from the Benussi Marine workshop. Qualified moorers provide 24/7 assistance. Equipped with the requirements for the classification of “Marina Resort,” it provides services complementary to mooring: comfortable accommodations surrounded by greenery and overlooking the lagoon, excellent catering, rental and leasing services of typical boats equipped with electric motors, and kayak excursions in the Venetian lagoon. The Marina is certified by RINA: ISO 9001, ISO SA8000, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and of the 4th level Marina Excellence for quality of port services. For management’s commitment to containing the environmental impact of its activities, all of which are powered by self-generated energy from photovoltaics, it has also received the FEE Blue Flag.

Where it is located – Veneto (Venice)

It is located on Certosa, which is one of the largest islands in the Venice lagoon. Its geographical location, less than 200 meters from the sestiere of San Pietro di Castello and two kilometers from the magnificent Piazza San Marco, allows it to be considered part of the city center. At the same time, the interesting history of the island and its naturalistic values make the Charterhouse fit into the special environmental and socio-economic context of the northern lagoon. Interesting to know that several monastic complexes were founded on the island in the 12th century, including that of St. Andrew of Charterhouse: it has been restored and can be visited.
The Marina on Certosa Island is located at the entrance to the Venice lagoon, between the Lido inlet and the center, a few meters from the Arsenale, home of the Boat Show and Biennale. Accessibility is provided by scheduled public service (vaporetto line 4 and Alilaguna) and a shuttle service for guests.
