Venice Certosa Marina

To experience Venice and its lagoon

The Venice Certosa Marina is the ideal port to enjoy the experience of experiencing Venice and the lagoon with your own boat. The Marina is a convenient, safe and perfectly equipped landing place for visiting the Architecture Biennale (May 20-November 11), the upcoming Venice Boat Show (May 31-June 4), the legendary Festa del Redentore (July 15), the International Film Festival (del Cinema August 30-September 9) and the many other events in the lagoon city.

The port

The Venezia Certosa Marina is equipped for the mooring of vessels, boats or pleasure craft up to 70 meters in length and 8 meters in draft. The moorings, set up on floating docks, are naturally redoxed by prevailing winds and tidal phenomena. The port is equipped with specialized technical services for hauling and maintenance of every vessel, deck equipment, engines, and on-board facilities. Qualified moorers provide 24/7 assistance. Equipped with the requirements for “Marina Resort” classification, the Marina provides the following complementary services to the berth: comfortable accommodations surrounded by greenery and overlooking the lagoon, excellent Alajmo signature dining, rental and leasing services of typical boats equipped with electric motors, and kayak excursions. The Marina is certified by RINA: ISO 9001, ISO SA8000, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and awarded the 4th level Marina Excellence for quality of port services. For its environmental and social impact management in ESG matters, which includes a pioneering self-producing renewable energy plant from photovoltaics, the Marina also received the FEE Blue Flag for the fifth consecutive year and was awarded the Marina Blue Award 2022.

Where it is located – Veneto (Venice)

It is located on Certosa, which is one of the largest of the smaller islands in the Venetian lagoon. Its geographical location, at the entrance to the Venice lagoon, between the Lido inlet and the city center, less than 200 meters from the sestiere of San Pietro di Castello and one kilometer from St. Mark’s Square, allows it to be considered part of the center. In addition to the valuable natural heritage that characterizes the largest park in Venice, the Certosa is known for the interesting medieval monastic complex of the Carthusian religious order whose remains have recently been secured and opened to the public for cultural events including the installations of the “Biogrounds” project promoted by the MAXXI Foundation, National Museum of XXI Century Arts, and the theatrical performances of the Teatro Stabile del Veneto in collaboration with the Veneto Region. Accessibility is provided by scheduled public service (vaporetto ACTV lines 4 and 5 and Alilaguna) and a shuttle service available to guests. The Marina is equipped with moorings for the short stay of vessels on daily visits.
