Zar Formenti inflatable boats are immediately recognizable and characterized by their prominent fiberglass construction. This leads them to be sometimes considered a hybrid between a classic boat and a motor boat. The reason for their structure is to get the best of both worlds. The safety, stability and performance that the inflatable boat provides with the comfort and interior space of the “classic” hull. Despite the long history of this brand, only one example exceeds 10 meters and is not a vessel. The shipyard has 3 main ranges: Zar, Zar Tender and Zar Mini. Today we focus on three iconic models in the first tier: 79 SL (Sport Luxury), 95 SL (Sport Luxury) and the flagship, the 130 Imagine.
Zar 79 SL
The bow area is designed to accommodate a sofa or, via an extension, to turn into a sundeck. The stern is also very versatile and can be arranged in various ways (C-shaped sofa, dining table, sundeck) depending on the needs of the moment. Then, in the stern, there are as many as five lockers, out of the total 12 on board, and a large access to technical components under the cockpit floor. The hull has a deep V, but what you don’t see is that it remains fine at the stern. At the propulsion level, and we are referring to outboard motors, it can be equipped with thrusters up to 300 horsepower, while the recommended power output is 150/200 hp.

Czar 95 SL
A fast, muscular rib with plenty of deck space and maximum comfort. A flagship among Sport Luxury, the Zar Formenti 95 SL touches speeds of even more than 50 knots knots without sacrificing on-board safety and optimal seaworthiness.

Zar Imagine 130
It is a maxi rib over thirteen meters in length. What sets it apart is first of all having the first third, that of the bow jigs, rigid, fiberglass. Secondly, below the waterline the elaborate water lines drawn by Francesco Ambrosini (deep bow V, very pronounced leapfrog, three steps, and sustaining skids) do their job excellently. Finally, the design, entrusted to Carlos Vidal, is very clean, yet sophisticated with even significant interior volumes. It closely recalls the world of superyachts. It can be equipped with up to 1,300 outboard horsepower and reaches 57 knots of top speed.
