The British shipyard Fairline Yachts has been sold to a private British investment fund, Hanover Investors through the Hanover Active Equity Fund II. This is reported by IBI News, which also says that the amount of the deal was not specified.

Hanover Investors Acquires Fairline Yachts

The owner of Fairline Yachts, a British shipyard, as of today, June 14, 2021, is the London-based investment fund Hanover Investors . The acquisition involved the RiverRock fund, which sold the majority stake it acquired just a year ago to the new investor.

Fairline Yachts CEO Peter McNulty welcomed the new shareholder as a recognition of the value of this historic powerboat yard. The company’s CEO said he was optimistic about the yard’s ability to quickly internationalize its products due to the group’s global vision.
