Following the launch of the revolutionary R35, a 50-knot yacht with never-before-seen technologies, Princess introduces the new Y85, hand-built in Plymouth, England, created for those who want speed, luxury and style-a unique sailing experience. The Princess Design Studio and Olesinski worked closely with Pininfarina to create a yacht that is elegant and simple, yet able to impress without betraying the Princess philosophy.

The wide flybridge is ideal for owners who like to be outdoors and enjoy direct contact with the environment, an element accentuated and complemented by a large aft sundeck. Despite being a model that looks at design and lines, Y85 is able to speed through the water at 33 knots thanks to the two MAN V12 engines . Princess’ innovative V-shaped hull shape, developed with naval architects from Olesinksi Studio, is the basis for this unique performance. On the Y85, Princess and Olesinski further refined this concept to offer 13 percent greater efficiency than the design it replaces. Comfort comes before performance, and to make cruising maximally comfortable and quiet, a fully soundproof engine room and vibration-reducing engine mounts were designed.

The main deck is very spacious with three separate seating areas ensure maximum privacy for guests and crew. Below deck, guests find accommodation in four different cabins with private bathrooms. Amidships, the full-beam master suite maximizes space, while the interior VIP stateroom features a double bed forward and walk-in closet. The interior design is highly polished and finished to ensure natural lighting throughout the boat.
