Raviolo, Chiara Ferragni and Fedez’s boat. Who will it go to after their separation?

Who will “Raviolo” go to after the split between Chiara Ferragni and Fedez that sent the web into a frenzy? Raviolo is the name of the wooden speedboat (one piece) that the couple, while still together, decided to purchase in the summer of 2023.

From the photos on Instagram, they spent their last happy summer aboard an exceptional boat on Lake Como, where they also own a prestigious villa on the water, in Pognana Lario, Villa Matilda.

Chiara Ferragni’s sense of motorboats

One thing is certain, the real powerboat enthusiast is Chiara Ferragni, from Cremona, 36, who in 2020 fell in love with a Riva Super Aquarama vintage (worth 500,000 euros, there are only 18 in the world) after an outing with friends on Lake Maggiore.

Hence the decision to purchase a boat. The Ferragnez renamed her “Raviolo” because that is the nickname the entrepreneur had given Fedez at the beginning of their relationship. Both have a smiling dumpling tattooed on their hand.

The Ferragnez’s boat? Not just any

The boat purchased, used, by the Ferragnez is not just any boat. It is a model inspired by the golden age of Made in Italy motorboats, a symbol of the Dolce Vita in the world. The standard bearers of these iconic boats are the Riva and Colombo shipyards. The former was based in Sarnico on Lake Iseo, the latter on Lake Como.

Stars of the 1960s and 1970s such as Brigitte Bardot, Alain Delon, Sophia Loren, Britt Ekland, Peter Sellers, Claudia Cardinale, Grace Kelly, Caroline and Rainier of Monaco have sailed on Riva motorboats and Colombo.

The intuition to create a line of unmistakable and luxurious motorboats inspired by the wooden models of American lakes is by Carlo Riva (1922-2017) who began production in the early 1950s with the Tritone. The history of the Colombo shipyard parallels that of Riva a few years later. Born in 1956, it rivaled the better-known Riva in elegance of line and quality of materials and construction. Now colombo is reintroducing a new line of motorboats reminiscent of models from the 1960s, such as the Colombo 33 Sogno.
