The new Fiart 43 Seawalker is a pure Med Boat: one of those boats for the Mediterranean that is both a mega tender and a “classic” motorboat. With its 13.84 meters, it has an average length that is in great demand on the current market. The new Fiart draws its inspiration from the Seawalker 33, a highly appreciated model and forerunner of many current trends.
Fiart 43 Seawalker: this is what it looks like
13.84 m long by 3.99 wide has a modular deck design. With a walkaround setting, it is designed to be lived mainly on the deck where we find a large bow sundeck, which starts under the central windscreen to a sort of bow cockpit with a seat. All around the walkway. In front of the helm console, there are three seats and behind it, a kitchen/fridge area, depending on what the owner wants.
Aft in two versions for Fiart Seawalker 43
.
- The first is the classic super tender configuration with the kitchen/bar cabinet behind the pilot and co-pilot seats, followed by the dining dinette and the second sundeck at the far stern. The area here is modular and with a system of foldable cushions can be partially transformed into a sofa, dining table or a second sofa that looks aft.
- In the second version the Seawalker 43 can be fitted with the “Fiart Mare style” cockpit, already present on other models in the range. In this case, instead of the stern sundeck, there is a “U” shaped living area with a table hidden in the dunnage, which can be raised as desired with an electric mechanism, transforming the area into a dining dinette or sundeck. In this way, the owner and guests have a lot of space at their disposal.
Very cool is the stern platform: equipped with double access from the cockpit, it can be up to 1.20 m long. Thanks to an electro-hydraulic system it can be moved up to dive, facilitating access to the sea for guests and toys on board. The latter can find shelter in the stern locker, which in the version with sundeck can also accommodate a small tender.
The hi-tech console
An NMEA 2000 network has been installed onboard the new Fiart. What does this mean? It means that through Garmin touch screen displays you can get information about the operation of the thrusters, boat performance, course, depth, etc.. With this instrument you can monitor and manage the entire boat and the options installed onboard, from the desalinator to the gyroscopic stabilizer.
Interiors of the Fiart 43 Seawalker
A walkaround to be lived on deck, but with a very big interior. Fiart’s designers have succeeded in ambitious results: the aft cabin of the Seawalker 43 is 1.80 m high. Aft cabins on similar boats are normally no taller than 1.50 m and therefore only as a bed. Below deck, there are two cabins: one forward with a double bed, the other with twin beds side by side. Both are served by a bathroom with a separate shower cubicle.
Instead of the aft cabin, there is a version of the Seawalker 43 with internal dinette, which can be converted into a bed. Another version also includes a storage room, an interesting configuration for those owners who want to use the Seawalker 43 as a superyacht support vessel.
Engineering and hull
The water lines of the Fiart Seawalker have been realized with CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) studies to optimize the performance of the hull. The water lines and variable “V” hull are designed to work with Volvo propulsion. The boat is offered with IPS or inboard. The designers then focused on lowering the boat’s center of gravity to make the Fiart Seawalker 43 less sensitive to roll motions and therefore stable both at sea and when stationary.
The Fiart Seawalker 43 has up to six Volvo Penta configurations available with speeds between 36 and 42 knots.
- three with stern feet – 2x320HP D4, 2x380HP V8 and 2x400HP D6
- three with IPS –500 series 2×380 HP, 600 series 2×440 HP and 650 series 2×480 HP
