fire on board

The fire onboard is a nightmare for many yachtsmen. But from now on there is a technology, called Aerpro Marine, which allows you to control and extinguish the fire on board a boat even if you are not there.

This product can be found on the SECURE 4 SEA stand of the Milan Yachting Week – The Digital Boat Show.

Fire on board: Aerpro Marine will also install it in retrofit

As CEO Andrea Azzolini tells us, Aerpro Marine is the only system, at this moment, actually certified in the aerosol technology for the automatic extinguishing of fires on board.

With over two hundred systems installed, it is also possible to install this system in retrofit (when the boat is already navigating). In fact, in this way, every boat owner no longer risks having the terrible surprise of finding the boat burnt. Aerpro Marine was created not only for large motorboats but for every type of boat, including sailing boats.

This technology of Aerpro Marine, seems to be more current than ever at the end of this summer. Looking at the news of fires on board this summer is easy to understand how frequent these kinds of accidents happens. Having said that, a definitive solution of this kind, not bound to the use of fire extinguishers to be operated manually, is certainly to be taken into consideration.
