Everything is almost ready for the Pescare Show in Vicenza (Feb. 21-23), the International Boat Show dedicated entirely to the world of sport fishing and recreational boating. Yamaha will be on site through its dealer Maresport with an Italian preview dedicated to fishermen, outboard motors and purchase benefits.
Yamaha and Capelli’s Fishing Show
The Pescare Show is the must-attend event for all sport fishing enthusiasts and professionals in the fishing world. Maresport Team will bring to Vicenza the fleet of Cantieri Capelli boats powered by Yamaha outboards designed specifically for fishing: the Capelli Tempest 750 Fishing, the Capelli Tempest 700 Fishing and the new Capelli Tempest 625 Fishing for the first time on the Italian market.
Tempest 625 Fishing
The Capelli Tempest 625 Fishing made its debut at the Paris Motor Show in December and is the latest addition to Capelli’s fishing range. It derives from the Work version and is adaptable in every way according to the angler and fishing techniques practiced.
Yamaha and Joker Boat
Joker Boat’s Coaster 650 Barracuda, powered by Yamaha and equipped with Raymarine instrumentation, will also be on display at the Pescare Show at Nautica Shark’s booth, and the package with the F200G powerplant will be offered at a discounted price. This dinghy, which takes its cue from the performance hull of the Coaster 650, measures 6.70 meters in length overall, with an interior length of 5.45 meters.
The Joker Boat Barracuda can be powered by three different Yamaha power units designed for three different types of fishermen: the F225F, a V6 with 24 valves, VCT and Drive-by-Wire electronic throttles; the F200G featured at the show, a 2.8-liter four-cylinder engine equipped with VCT and also with digital electronic throttle and gearbox; or, as a third solution the F175A. Speaking of electronics, the Barracuda mounts a 12-inch AXIOM from Raymarine, an instrument equipped with RealVision 3D functions, CHIRP echosounder and a very fast quad-core processor, as well as having Wi-Fi connections, Bluetooth and integration possibilities with audio, FLIR thermal imaging cameras and Evolution autopilot, all finished with a sleek glass touchscreen for visible and buttonless mounting, with swipe-to-power control for power on and off.
