It is the first “bombshell” that hit us at the Genoa Boat Show. And one that struck a chord with many enthusiasts gathered “in a dragnet” at the booth: we are talking about the first watercraft–fishing.
It is called the Fish Pro and is manufactured by Sea-Doo: powered by a 155-horsepower engine, it is equipped with rod holders, a 51-liter refrigerated fish tank, and thanks to rear brackets, aft can accommodate a small refrigerator, an extra tank or a stocked fishing box.
Three people can fit on the saddle, but the bike, which reaches a top speed of 45 knots, is designed for solo use since the fisherman likes to practice the activity alone.
The absence of draft allows the Fish Pro (equipped with electronic speed control and reverse gear) to reach any “spot” good for fishing and, of course, beaching.
The 70-liter fuel tank provides great range, and the bike is equipped with top-of-the-line fishing gear, with Garmin’s Echomap multifunction fishfinder.
At 3.73 meters long and 1.25 meters wide, it weighs 389 kilograms and costs about 16,000 euros. www.maremoto.net, https://it.sea-doo.com/
