The Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS 2022) finally opened, and ample news is expected for the American public, who will get to see not only some world debuts for the 2023 season, but also many of the big brands already present at the previous shows in Cannes and Genoa. For those who may have missed them, as well as for those who are interested, here are some of the Italians attending FLIBS 2022 in Fort Lauderdale from October 26-30.
FLIBS 2022
Solaris Power – 40 Open – (11.97M)
With the new 40 Open, the Aquileia shipyard presents a boat with truly remarkable qualities that will undoubtedly captivate the overseas market in which it has just debuted. With the longest exterior layout in its class, Solaris Power’s new 40-footer offers important sensations of livability and elegance, with an especially comfortable dinette and sizable double sundecks. The walkaround layout provides in the central part, in the shadow of a large T-Top, the command post, where the asymmetrical leaves comfortable below deck. The interior is well designed, with emphasis on noise and vibration reduction, and is divided into three main areas, with living, full bath, aft double cabin and forward master cabin.
TecnoRib – Pirelli 42 (13.1 M)
TecnoRib, licensee of the PIRELLI brand for inflatable boats, debuts in the U.S. market with the Pirelli 42, progenitor of the Walkaround line of Pirelli RIBs. Equipped with as many as three Mercury Racing 450 outboards, for a total power output of 1350 horsepower (but also available in an inboard-outboard version), the Pirelli 42 is a sporty walkaround rigid inflatable boat that combines elegance, comfort and luxury with exceptional performance. In fact, in addition to a good dose of adrenaline, the Pirelli 42 also offers an amazing interior, with an especially large open-plan cabin, a full bathroom (toilet, sink, and shower), and plenty of room for storage and general living. On deck, in addition to tables, sofas, and sundecks, a variety of amenities are also offered, such as refrigerators, showers, sinks, and kitchen equipment, including a grill and stove top.
Pardo Yachts – Pardo GT52 – (16.5 M)
The current flagship of Pardo Yachts’ GT range is one of the shipyard’s great entries at FLIBS 2022, an excellent demonstration of how Pardo Yachts walkaround styling meets the livability of a more cruiser model, but still sporty and beautiful to look at. The IPS engine does the rest, making the Pardo GT52 not only an elegant and luxurious vehicle, but offering enjoyable performance with an eye on fuel economy. Inside, on the other hand, it is possible to create different layouts as needed, with a galley in the salon or below deck. Also notable is the livability gained in the forward area, opposite the inverted windshield. This GT will soon be followed by another larger one: the Pardo GT75.

To accompany the flagship, Pardo Yachts actually brings in the entire walkaround range, consisting of the equally good Pardo 38, Pardo 43 and Pardo 50 (Missoni Edition). And, not to be missed, the Pardo Endurance 60, too, will be on display for the American show audience.
Bluegame – BG54 (16.57 M)
Sanlorenzo’s brand takes BG54 overseas, for the first time to tread American markets. An exceptional U.S. premiere also for Bluegame then, which presents to the U.S. states with its latest creation, which has already won awards at the Cannes Salon and was admired at the next Genovese. A younger sister of the BG72, it inherits its evolved space concept, giving an unusual layout in usability and size while offering, as always, an unmistakable profile. At 16.57 meters long and 4.85 wide at maximum beam, the BG54 achieves speeds around 35 knots while offering ample comfort and open spaces. In addition to a sizable forward lounging area with ample sundeck, the new model offers a 360-degree cockpit and well-kept convivial spaces both above and below deck. As for accommodation, depending on the layout, BG54 accommodates between 4 and 6 people, also offering a cabin for possible crew.

Accompanying the new model, Bluegame also brings to FLIBS the BGX60, a smaller and improved sister of the BGX progenitor, the BGX 70.
Ferretti Group – Riva 76′ Bahamas Super (22.32 M)
Ferretti Group will be present at FLIBS 2022 with several boats, and among them the new Riva 76′ Bahamas Super, a brilliant synthesis of style, elegance and technological innovation. Distinguished by sleek lines and that distinctive ‘shore-look,’ the hull has an extremely aerodynamic profile, marked by a distinctive carbon C-top that allows a quick transition from open to coupe. The deck and interiors are themselves well cared for, with large areas dedicated to comfort and relaxation, all in a refined Mediterranean style, seasoned with textural combinations and color contrasts between light and dark, emblematic of the Riva style.
Ferretti Group, however, will not be present with the single shore, which it will juxtapose with many others, including the Riva 90′ Argo, the Pershing 8X, the Pershing 9X, the Ferretti Yachts 780 and 920, and the WallyTender 48X.

Azimut | Benetti Group – Magellan 66 (20.15 M)
U.S. premiere for the Magellan 66, which offers luxury and comfort starting with the second-generation Dual Mode hull, a promise of maximum stability at both displacement speeds and during peak speeds of 23 knots thanks to the two 850-horsepower inboard MANs. The spaces are well designed and, developed on one level with glazed surfaces, provide excellent livability and privacy. The master cabin appears to be separate from the two guest cabins and the crew area. There are lounge and dedicated relaxation areas on the flybridge. The cockpit can be converted into a dining area, while the bridge deck can be separated from the living and galley by sliding glass windows. Finally, a fourth cabin can become a guest cabin or stowage area as needed.

Joining the Magellan 66, Azimut | Benetti Group also brings to the ‘states’ two other exceptional models, the Benetti B.Yond 37M and the Benetti Oasis 40M.
Sanlorenzo – SP110 (33 M)
Sanlorenzo’s new gem, and on display at FLIBS 2022, is the new SP110, the first example of the shipyard’s new Smart Performance range, already on display at the Genoa Boat Show. This pioneer of Sanlorenzo’s Open family was born from the hand of Bernardo and Martina Zuccon who worked with Tilli Antonelli. The additional design touch was provided by architect Piero Lissoni, who oversaw the décor. Overall aesthetically brilliant, the SP110 boasts high-performance Water-Jet propulsion, and ensures efficiency and comfort at any speed. On-board power is generated by an internal storage system through several solar panels, while the entire on-board architecture aims to maximize the enjoyment of each experience, providing a boat that is as innovative as it is enjoyable and luxurious. In fact, the spaces are found to be all very well cared for, and aesthetically absolutely pleasing as well as clean. A great start for a range that shows great promise.
In addition to the aforementioned, of course, many other distinguished presences, Italian and otherwise, including Apreamare, which will present an outboard version of its
Gozzo 35
, or Pearl Yachts, which will launch in world debut its new Pearl 72.
