With the
Cannes Yachting Festival 2022
will come an opportunity to see a large number of boats live, and among them the new Princess F50, representative of the shipyard’s new F Class flybridge design language. A boat that focuses on quality, both exterior and interior, but at the same time does not disdain performance, promising speeds of up to 34 knots.
Princess F50
Equipped and available with some of the newest technologies, including gyroscopic stabilizers and Volvo Penta Easy (optional), this boat (15 m) also boasts a fiberglass hull and high quality standards, including clean finishes and handcrafted elements.
Princess F50 – Exterior
Princess’ new F-Class exterior styling language is condensed into this 15.65-meter yacht. Large blade windows in the hull, curved windshield and a sporty canopy. A blend that provides clean, bolder lines, especially moving toward the forward slants.
Inevitably, at the far aft end we find a teak-lined swim platform and, below the flybridge aft overhang, a large cockpit with table and sofa. From here then, the entrance to the main deck and the ladder to the flybridge. On the flybridge we again find an aft sofa with table, while, in the forward area, wheelhouse with racing seats and a U-shaped sofa on the port side. In the bow, on the other hand, a large sundeck and broadside secured by full-length handrails.
Princess F50 – Interior
Moving below deck instead, as soon as we pass the large cockpit, ideal for conviviality, we find a main salon. An open aft galley and living area populate this first space, welcoming guests with a bright salon equipped with a large U-shaped sofa and table for six guests. Also the
main wheelhouse
and is housed here, and like everything else in the interior, it is taken care of down to the smallest detail. In fact, from the stitching on the seats to the door handles, the entire salon exhibits extremely remarkable precision and refinement.
Moving to the lower deck, guests are greeted by three well-appointed cabins, two of them, with private bathrooms. The master cabin is particularly spacious, thanks to its full-beam configuration. Here we find, in addition to a private toilet, double bed, sofa and extremely well-kept furniture.
The forward cabin, also double, offers a useful solution in bed configuration, which by moving on a scissor layout, can translate from double to double single. Ideal for offering flexibility to guests. Anadditional double guest cabin is available, with bunk berths and accessories.
Princess F50 – Motorization and Performance
To conclude, performance, another element of interest in the case of the Princess F50. The hull is made of fiberglass, and you have a gyroscopic stabilizer(we explain how they work here), which is ideal for reducing roll and amplifying the pleasure of being on board. Finally, in terms of motorization, 2x Volvo IPS 800s of 600 horsepower each push this yacht to top speeds between 32 and 34 knots, a variation calculated based on loads and hull cleanliness. Overall, cruiser performance for a boat that aims high especially in terms of interior care, thus ensuring a good combination of comfort and enjoyment.
