With the Dutchman’s new 37-footer comes a hull with sporty lines devoted to livable open spaces. How? Starting with several outdoor lounge areas and versatile solutions to expand the usability of the spaces themselves. An example? The hard-top in the cockpit is designed to have 2-meter fully retractable windows. This boat is thus able to offer both an enclosed space in bad weather and a fully open space with convivial area and lounge married in one open air. Awaiting its debut, meanwhile, preview for you.

Exterior and deck of the boat
The focus of this powerboat, the Focus 3X, is undoubtedly versatility. It is presented as a sleek hull set in full sport-cruiser style, with clean lines and dynamic profiles. Thus we have a sunbathing area recessed into the deckhouse, following the pattern of the deck and windshield just behind.

The goal, however, of making this hull as usable as if it were an open, all emerges as soon as attention is shifted to the stern, where, in addition to a hydraulic swim platform for descending into the water, there is a large cockpit, fully integrated with the salon and dinette under the hard top. Thus, a second sundeck is located aft, which then accompanies to the center of the boat, where the more convivial areas turn out to be usable either in “open mode,” with the windows retracted, or closed, thus becoming usable even in complex weather conditions.

Focus 3X – Interior
Looking at the volumes below deck, the shipyard’s design team has developed a range of spaces suitable for a variety of uses, effectively making the Focus 3X a hull suitable for both single day trips and weekend getaways or small cruising. With this in mind, a double owner’s cabin is carved out in the bow, leaving the space in front instead to the role of a dinette. Here, sofa and table provide both a space for socializing and meals and an additional bunk, in this case measuring 120 x 180 cm. Opposite, however, is the kitchen, flanked aft by the toilet room. Additionally, an optional second cabin is available aft.

Motorization
Coming to the engine room, Focus Motor Yachts comes here to meet a wide variety of needs by offering different and diverse engine options. A pair of Yanmar inboard engines of 370 horsepower each or a pair of 430-hp Mercruisers are the two versions offered, but there is no shortage of further options, respectively distinct in 2x Volvo Penta D4 270-hp or 320-hp, or a pair of 270-hp Mercury diesels. For outboard lovers, however, not to worry: 2 400-horsepower Mercury Verado V10s are also contemplated among the options.
