The Oscars of flying boats are back, with lots of sailing, but also some powerboats. On April 28, one of Milan’s most prestigious theaters, TAM Teatro Arcimboldi, will host a truly special evening. Rendezvous at 8 p.m. for the fifth Foiling Awards, which will celebrate men and boats who were actors in as many as two seasons: 2020 and 2021.
Barche a Motore, together with Giornale della Vela and Top Yacht Design, will be official media partners of the event.
Foiling Awards 2022 in Milan
The Foiling Awards 2022 honor the best boats (and players) in the foil world over the past two years. In sailing there has been incredible development with dozens of boats (for all tastes) born in the past two years. Not only the America’s Cup, Ruggero Tita’s and Caterina Banti’s gold medals at the last Olympics, but so many protagonists of the all-around foiling world. There are twelve categories in total in the Awards, and the engine is also carving out an increasingly large slice of attention.
