This is the challenge that Fountain Pajot has proposed to Berret Racoupeau’s designers for the new MY 68: the offcial presentation will be at the Miami International Boat Show 2020. 19.49 meters long and 9.84 meters wide, the new cat will feature a displacement of 50 tons and will be powered by twin Volvo D4 300hp engines (D6 415hp engines are optional). In order to ensure the best possible range, tanks will have a fuel capacity of 4,000 litres. According to the shipyard, the cat will touch a top speed of 21 knots and a cruising speed of 14- 15 (with a fuel consumption of 60 l/h). Highly comfortable, the boat will also have a tender lift and a crane for the jet ski. The “Maestro” version will accommodate a master cabin, a double guest cabin and a fore berth; the “Charter” version will feature three double cabins and a fore berth.
