At the Tulln Boat Show, Austria’s premier boat show, Frauscher unveiled the world premiere of the electric 740 Mirage Air, powered by Evoy, a leader in high-performance, fast-charging electric propulsion for commercial and recreational marine applications, with power ratings from 120 to 400 hp.
Frauscher 740 Mirage Air
To the eye, 740 Mirage Air remains the center console we have come to know in its thermal and electric versions. In a length of 7.47 m for a beam of 2.50 m she packs an aesthetic of personality, angular, sleek, yet sporty and elegant.
In the bow it redefines the bowrider concept with a two symmetrical sofas halfway between a sundeck and a chaise-longue.
In the center is the walkway, where a height-adjustable table can be mounted to transform the entire area into a living or sun deck, as needed.
At the stern, the engine room is covered by a double, side sundeck, which leaves room on the starboard side for the passage to the small beach.
Motorization
The real news is about what’s under the hood or, in this case, under the sundeck, precisely. The new engine is Evoy’s 120-hp inboard Breeze inline engine, which stands out from the stern foot of the similar thermal version. The special feature of the Evoy is its compatibility with high-speed DC charging, with 10% to 80% charging in less than an hour. The price of this version of the Frauscher 740 Mirage Air starts at €329,325 excluding VAT.
Frauscher 740 Mirage Air. Much more than a new model
This world premiere is more than just a product launch-it marks a strategic partnership aimed at transforming electric boating across Europe.
“Our collaboration with Evoy // Vita is not just about a single boat-it is about shaping the future of sustainable boating. With strong demand across the European market, we see this as just the beginning of a long-term commitment to high-performance electric boating,” says Georg Frauscher, Head of Boatbuilding at Frauscher Boats.
Frauscher has already sold the first five units of the 740 Mirage Air and delivered the first one. Interest in this segment has increased, particularly in the European Great Lakes, where premium, clean, high-performance boating is in high demand.
