Frauscher 858 Fantom Air è un center consolle totalmente aperto. Rispetto alla sorella cabinata, la versione Air rinuncia ai locali sottocoperta, in favore di due divanetti imbottiti a prua, trasformabili in prendisole. Per lo stivaggio restano comunque l’area a poppa e spazi sotto sedute e pagliolo della postazione di guida, oltre a un gavone poppiero e a due aree scaffalate a parete aggiuntive. C’è abbastanza spazio per riporre bagagli, giubbotti salvagenti, sci e tutto ciò che ci si può portare per una giornata in barca.
Per proteggersi dal solleone, due tendalini a scomparsa possono essere aperti in pochi secondi e in aggiunta è disponibile uno spray hood. La barca è stata sviluppata dalla stessa triade del Frauscher 858 Fantom: Thomas Gerzer, storico capo del dipartimento sviluppo Frauscher; l’ingegnere navale Harry Miesbauer, creatore della carena; il designer Gerald Kiska partner del cantiere e fondatore dell’omonimo studio). Air è disponibile con 3 diverse motorizzazioni e una gamma che va da 300 a 430 HP, con serbatoio da 370 litri.
The new Frauscher 858 Fantom Air is a completely open center console. Compared with its cabin-equipped predecessor, the Air version has no rooms below deck but adds two upholstered sofas in the bow which can turn into a large sun pad. Under the seats and under the cockpit floor – in addition to the stowage space in the bow and two additional shelf areas in the wall of the yacht – there is plenty of room for stowing luggage, life vests, water-skis and much more.
Two folding awnings can be opened in a few seconds to repair passengers from the sun; if it is raining, a spray hood is also available.
Designed by the same trio than the Frauscher 858 Fantom (Thomas Gerzer, the historic head of Frauscher Development Department; naval engineer Harry Miesbauer, the inventor of the hull; and Gerald Kiska, historical partner of the shipyard and founder of the studio of the same name) the Air model is offered in three different engine options ranging from 300 to 430 HP, with a 370-liter fuel tank capacity.
