Designer Mani Frers has put his 46-metre super trimaran on sale for $26.5m with Camper and Nicholson, specialists in the superyacht trade. An astronomical figure that is good for the pair with the spaceship lines of this trimaran.
Arriving in 2020
The date of completion of this yacht should be 2020, but the concept of this boat is already widely developed. Designed by Mani Frers for construction at the McConaghy shipyard, after the last adjustments a short period of time will be needed for construction, to the delight of the owner. Designed to meet the DNV commercial class for transoceanic use and capable of long-cruise navigation without compromising speed, this “007-looking superyacht” will be a new benchmark in multihull design.
How the yacht “007” by Frers is made
The design of the Frers Trimaran offers outdoor space with the stern deck covering the full width of the hull. This area is dedicated to outdoor living and features a whirlpool pool, a bar, deck chairs and numerous relaxing seats. From here, steps descend along the transom on both sides to the platform of a beach club. The tender garage, located inside the transom, can then be opened and converted into a recreational area. The left and starboard side garages can accommodate additional water features, with ample space for another tender or a pair of jet skis.
The accommodation is for eight guests, in four cabins with private bathroom. The master cabin is located on the upper deck, offering a high view and a private aft deck, which is accessed through sliding glass doors. The other guest cabins are all located on the lower deck. The interior design of Design Unlimited can be adapted and customised to the needs of the owner.
A helipad has been inserted on the upper deck, an unusual feature for a yacht of this size.
McConaghy yards are internationally recognized for their expertise in building high technology, high performance racing yachts. This collaboration between McConaghy and Frers offers an impressive pedigree of construction and design and, when built, a truly unique superyacht.
