Since 2005, Andareavela has established itself as a landmark in the nautical training scene thanks to the initiative of founding partners Stefano Raschio and Pierpaola Bertagni, who have long experience in the yachting industry. Historically based in Genoa’s Porto Antico, the Andareavela Nautical School offers various courses and possibilities for obtaining a boating license, and today it is expanding further with the opening of a new branch in Milan, at 10 Via privata E. Brizi (Rogoredo area). Let’s see together what courses it offers to obtain the nautical license (which has changed since October 21, here we explain how).
A one-stop shop for getting a boat license
In a short time, Andareavela has become a favorite choice not only for local enthusiasts but also for those from other regions of northern Italy. The school is distinguished by awide range of training offerings: evening courses, intensive weekends and customized courses that can adapt to the needs of each student. The school also serves as a reference center for other nautical schools in Lombardy and Milan, providing support for the conduct of examinations and for sailing and motorboat practice.
Innovation with the maneuver simulator
Another hallmark of Andareavela is the use of new technologies. In fact, it is the only nautical school in Italy to have a simulator for maneuvering exercises with motor boats. Thanks to virtual reality, students can train in mooring and unmooring maneuvers before tackling them on a real boat. This tool is not a substitute for outings at sea, but provides anopportunity to become familiar with boat dynamics in an immersive and interactive way.
New office in Milan
The recent opening of the Milan location represents an important step in making Andareavela ‘s courses accessible to an even wider audience. Located in a well-connected area, the venue has a90-square-meter classroom that can accommodate up to 50 participants. Equipped with specific equipment to simulate real-life conditions on board, the new venue offers a comprehensive training experience, perfect for those who wish to obtain a boating license and live in Milan. The venue is located at 10 Via Privata E. Brizi and can be reached by yellow subway ( M3 Porto di Mare stop), by train ( Rogoredo stop) or by car arriving via the Tangenziale Est (San Donato) with the possibility of using the free indoor parking.
