Padel Court SSCo - Padel Court
Padel Court SSCo – Padel Court

Padel is a sport that has depopulated just about everywhere, so much so that camps have sprung up like mushrooms in Italy for people to practice it. But to be able to satisfy the desire to play the sport anywhere from today there is a new possibility: that of playing directly on the boat, even in the middle of the sea. Of course, the necessary condition is to have a boat, and to have it big enough to install a padel court in it. Here’s how it works.

The facility is owned by Shipyard Supply Co. (SSCo.), which has a very important range of innovative deck equipment for superyachts in its catalog, and its latest addition, the Padel Court, represents a significant step forward in the luxury yacht equipment industry. This pioneering project was commissioned by an owner who is currently building a 110-meter yacht, and promises to offer owners and guests a unique sporting experience at sea.

An independent field that can be installed anywhere

SSCo’s Padel Court. differs from traditional playgrounds in that it is freestanding, eliminating the need to mount sockets and poles on the deck. This means it can be installed on almost any deck, increasing accessibility even for operational yachts that cannot accommodate other equipment. This design not only maximizes available space, but also makes the field adaptable to different yacht configurations. In addition, the court was created to play padel, a kind of fusion of tennis and squash, but it can also be adapted to play other sports, such as squash or basketball, offering different possibilities.

SSCo’s Padel Court. is made of carbon and has an innovative design using plexiglass panels and mesh. This construction ensures durability and high-level performance while maintaining a lightweight structure. In addition, the camp is easy to assemble and disassemble, and its flat modular panels make it easy to store, for example, at the end of the season. The price of SSCo’s Padel Court. Is about $250,000.
