Furuno’s new XL multifunction displays: the TZtouchXL line, 22 and 24 inches

Furuno, which has been attentive to the feedback and needs indicated by its audience for years, again proves its ability to meet the demands of its audience by introducing the new extra-large multifunctionals. By the end of 2023, then, the new TZtouchXL line will be available, 22- and 24-inch Full-HD multifunction displays that will not only retain Furuno’s characteristic user-experience but also be among the most powerful on the market.

Following the previous introduction of the 9-inch NavNet TZtouch3 displays, Furuno is therefore introducing a new line with XL dimensions, designed specifically to streamline the planks and offer everything needed on a larger surface area, thus promoting use and glance.

Specifically, the two new models ( the TZT22X and the TZT24X), in addition to offering all the functions and components now typical of the NavNet TZtouch3 system, will also allow the screens to be divided into six different windows, thus offering the edge-swipe function that, at the swipe of a finger, will allow users to display or hide navigation data, as it will also allow them to access all links, layers or their own tools.

There will also be a CHIRP Side Scan function, which scans on both walls to enable the seafloor structure to be seen in high definition up to about 230 meters away. Last but not least, the new TZtouchXLs will be embeddable in the same network as the TZtouch3 system, thus enumerating pairing with solid-state radar (NXT) or Magnetron (X-Class), multiple echosounder systems, DFF3d multibeam sonar, and various AIS, VHF, NavPilot options, as well as weather monitoring systems and satellite compasses.

Overall, it will therefore be a comprehensive response to the demands that have come from the market, as also stated by Furuno USA Inc President Brad Reents, anticipating how, in the new TZtouchXL, the following will be collected “all the options a commander could want in a larger display with the same simple, familiar interface. The TZtouchXL’s full-glass display will add elegance and sophistication to any command bridge, with all the power, responsiveness and ease of use that the NavNet TZtouch3 is known for.”

The new line is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2023. For more information, please contact official channels: www.furuno.it
