How Garmin’s Perspective Mode Works.
With a new mounting bracket for the LiveScope LVS32 transducer, anglers will be able to use the Perspective Mode feature, which complements the existing LiveScope Forward and LiveScope Down.
Panoptix technology and the Panoptix LiveScopeTM series have made life easier, and not a little easier, for boat fishermen by providing real-time images of structures and fish around and under the boat.
With the new Perspective Mode feature, the LVS32 LiveScope transducer will provide even more realistic and accurate images of what lies beneath and to the sides of the boat.
Is it difficult to install?
No, the chartplotter automatically detects the installation mode of the transducer and changes the display mode on the display accordingly, without any direct user intervention: just rotate the transducer sideways to activate the Perspective Mode function. By returning to the initial installation location, it will be possible to reactivate the LiveScope Forward and LiveScope Down modes.
All three modes provide real-time images of the fish underneath and in front of the boat so that you can get a maximum understanding of what is under the boat. Panoptix LiveScope TM LVS32 is equipped with a built-in AHRS sensor to continuously update the signal to compensate for the motion of the vessel due to wave motion. This ensures a stable image at all times and provides a sharp and accurate visual result even in rough sea conditions.
Garmin Panoptix LiveScope fishfinder
The Panoptix LiveScope fishfinder system consists of the GLS 10 black-box module and the LVS32 transducer. With a plug-and-play connector, it enables easy installation and integration with compatible Garmin Marine chartplotters. In addition, with full compatibility with the Garmin Marine Network, high-definition images can be shared among multiple networked Garmin Marine chartplotters.
The new Perspective Mode feature is available now through the software update; the dedicated Perspective Mode bracket is available by Q1 2020 at a price of €99.99 including VAT.
