Fueling a boat is always a high-stress time. Some of it is because of fuel prices, but we’ve more or less gotten used to those by now. The other cause is, with boats, when we refuel via jerry cans or fill them up. The interplay of forces and levers that overcomes the laws of physics to rely, more like, on Murphy’s, means that some of our fuel, punctually, ends up scattered around the boat or, even worse, in the sea. Because the fill is not so trivial to center and it only takes the slightest distraction to spell disaster.
Larger boats are certainly not exempt from such problems either, where when approaching a full tank it happens that you have to slow down, hoping not to overflow.
No more gasoline around the boat!
A solution to this problem that is virtually universal comes to us from a product that is as small as it is ingenious. It is called Clix, and on the surface it looks like a simple funnel. In reality it is a small revolution. It is a product to be used when refueling, or when filling jerry cans, and it allows you to stop the dispensing when you get to “full.” An accessory that once bought becomes a never-without.
