In the Picchiotti Gentleman 24, the retro style of a shipyard with nearly 500 years of history returns to the sea. A 24-meter unit that combines classic aesthetics with modern technologies and materials.

Of course, 100 percent classic is not because the basic demand of the modern owner is volume. This is how the brand, now part of TISG put together vintage design with modern space and comfort. Let’s see what it looks like.

Gentleman’s Yachts 24

Made entirely of aluminum, the 24-m yacht built by Picchiotti Gentleman’s Yachts 24 has a maximum beam of 6.5 meters. Gentleman’s 24 m is powered by two MAN D2862 LE446 V8 engines of 1,300 hp each, providing a cruising speed of 16 knots and a maximum speed of 19 knots. Also on board are two 35 kW generators, gyro stabilizer and 30 kW bow thruster.

Characteristic of this version is a sea terrace and expanded beach club, among the largest available on yachts of its size, which open directly onto the aft beach through a sliding glass door.

What do we find on board?

Three cabins on the lower deck offer privacy and comfort, while the separate lounge and dining room on the main deck are the heart of life on board. Not to be forgotten is the large outdoor dining area, the perfect place for dining under the stars with friends and family. One of the most distinctive features of the 24m is the so-called beach club, which includes a pull-down balcony at the broadside for direct and privileged access to the sea. This versatile space is furnished with a sofa that converts into a bed and has every comfort (air conditioning, TV), allowing it to be converted into a fourth cabin and accommodate up to eight guests.

Woodpeckers, at sea since 1575

Gentleman’s Yacht highlights a classically inspired silhouette, reshaped by making it less angular, more modern and elegant. This line is the result of a collaboration between The Italian Sea Group, Luca Dini with his Design & Architecture and Kurt Lehmann with his Yacht Moments.

That is why the Gentleman 24 m is a living tribute to Italian nautical history.

The Picchiotti name, as Gianmaria Costantino, CCO of The Italian Sea Group, explains, has been “sailing” since 1575: “The goal of the Gentleman project is to follow the legacy of the Picchiotti brand, one of the oldest brands in the Italian yacht-building industry. So the idea is to recreate this legacy through a vintage yacht, but at the same time it follows the most up-to-date technology on the market.”
