Girbau G38

A lot of them sail on the Costa Brava; in Italy it has not been seen, until now.
It is called Girbau 38 from the Spanish shipyard Girbau and is a 12-meter boat (12.5 meters with the XL platform) with classic lines, inspired by the llaĂĽt, one of the traditional Spanish boats.
On board, actually, the contents are modern and make this hull an interesting mix of styles.  That’s why to see it at the Genoa Boat Show, where it will be exhibited for the first time! The booth number is BP09 on dock P135.

Girbau 38

Appreciated for its sailing qualities, this boat has a large aft platform, a very protected and modular cockpit available in various configurations.
In the bow, meanwhile, there is a large sundeck that extends over the deckhouse to the windshield and is ideal as a lounging area. The aft living area of the Girbau 38[/] There is a galley in the center, behind the helm station, and it can be equipped with a sink, cooking plate, refrigerators and ice-maker.
The T-top is optional, but it is one of the “must-haves” on board, so much so that virtually all owners request it. A weekender needs to be livable below deck as well, which is why the Girbau 38 is designed for overnight accommodations with the ability to accommodate up to six people.
To descend to the lower deck there is a rather easy staircase and here we are greeted by a large dinette on the right, while the bathroom is on the left towards the bow.
This space, if desired, can become the extra berth over the two double cabins (one forward, larger, and one aft also ideal as storage when not planning long cruises). The dinette with the bathroom to the left and the forward cabin in the background[/] Classic and modern are also found on the technical side.
The traditional shaft line that drives this boat (which mounts Yanmar 8LV 350- or 370-horsepower inboards) is joined by the possibility of fitting a Seakeeper gyro stabilizer and customizing materials such as teak (natural or synthetic) for the deck or fabric and upholstery colors.
