One example is Evodock, a mooring dedicated to large sail and motor maxi-yachts that, in its special construction technique, has the distinction of being unique in the world. It is in fact a single tapered line with two different sections: H.T. Nylon for elasticity and Dyneema for high breaking loads. Thanks to its unique construction with mixed materials, it allows to maintain excellent performance by greatly reducing the diameter and therefore the weights of the mooring part fixed on board. Gottifredi Maffioli then has several mooring lines that are a perfect mix of quality in performance and ease of use. Such as the Flashline, which has a high-loading Dyneema and polypropylene inner core combined with a high-visibility polypropylene outer sock with reflective warning lights. Or like Maxidock, a double-braid line with a very elastic inner core, because it is made of polyamide, and a soft protective polyester sock; excellent for outer covers because it suffers less from UV rays, avoiding the crystallization that often brings the tedious squeaking of old nylon moorings.
