Slovenian shipyard Greenline Yachts announces the world debut of its newest model: the Greenline 42. Previewed at the last Cannes Yachting Festival and currently under construction, this yacht promises to set a new standard in the 42-foot range, combining brilliant performance, state-of-the-art solar technology, and an unprecedented level of customization. The Greenline 42 will make her first official appearance at Boot Düsseldorf in January 2026.

Greenline’s “responsible” philosophy evolves: the 42 features an optimized hull (designed by Micad) that provides a maximum speed of up to 25 knots with standard propulsion. For lovers of quiet and environmentally friendly sailing, the boat can be equipped with Greenline’s H-Drive 6G propulsion system.

This advanced hybrid system not only enables quiet electric maneuvering and superior efficiency, but works in synergy with the ten solar panels integrated into the superstructure, which produce up to 4.3 kW of power. This capacity allows all onboard systems to be powered and the battery pack to be quickly recharged, providing significant range in roadstead without relying on the fuel generator.

Design by Marco Casali and modular spaces

The design is entrusted to the pencil of Marco Casali, who conceived a balance between modern aesthetics and functionality. The Greenline 42 is the yard’s most versatile model to date, offering owners a freedom of configuration outside the norm. Thecockpit, for example, is transformable and available in two layouts, including an option with a fold-down transom and fully removable furniture. In addition, a bow, a new sophisticated lounge area creates an elegant and functional relaxation space, in line with the solutions adopted on the larger Greenline 58. The interior also follows the production philosophy of the exterior, as Casali has envisioned two styles, and owners are given the opportunity to customize cabins, bathrooms, furniture and appliances.

Vladimir Zinchenko, CEO of Greenline, sums up the essence of the project this way, “The Greenline 42 reflects all our know-how in building durable, high-quality yachts. It is designed to offer decades of pleasure, with options that make each yacht unique to its owner.”

The Greenline 42 promises to be an icon of sustainable boating, combining performance, comfort and full control over customization.
