From Sicily comes interesting news on the luxury RIB scene.
The historic Marel shipyards, in fact, renew their production with a new brand to pin the name on: Halma Rib.
Standard-bearer of these is the brand-new HR 30, a 9.10-meter maxi-dinghy designed for those who love to experience the sea en plein air.
A forerunner of two other models, theHR 25 andHR35 (due in the coming months), the new HR 30 is a fast rib with a V-shaped hull and major engines.
The deck, however, is set to fully enjoy days at sea.

Behind the design are engineers Inzerillo and Albeggiani, who designed a boat with a bathroom/dressing room, sundeck and piano-bar in the cockpit.
A day boat that differs from the rest of the market in a number of features: the 3.35-meter maximum beam for much of the length and the squared-off bow maximize deck livability.
It also makes for drier sailing, even on 25 knots.
A super livable blanket
This layout enhances the deck space, starting with the large aft sundeck, well integrated into the design of the cockpit section, raised above the tubulars and nicely “fused” to the body with teak elements and elegant finishes.
Aft of this, thanks to the adoption of inboard-outboard engines, there is no shortage of space for the beach area.
On board, then, there is also a mobile bar integrated into the back of the seating at the helm station.
An area that, overall, is shaded by a dedicated bimini.
30 The forward section of the HR 30 starts from mid-length with a slight soaring of the tubulars, which thus offers more protection to the hull and the forward lounge equipped with sundeck.
Thus sailing is more pleasant even at high speeds.
On the bridge, on the other hand, in addition to all the instrumentation, including a 12-inch Garmin display, hides the toilet and dressing room where there are two seats with cushions to provide more support.
Halma Rib HR 30 – Motorization
In terms of engines, for the benefit of more deck space, the new HR 30 boasts two Volvo Penta V6 inboard-outboard engines to mark the standard, totaling 560 total horsepower.
Optionally, however, these are replaceable by different options, so as to meet different owners’ needs.
