It is the boat for the yachtsman who wants to go out every weekend, sail fast, but also have room on board to stow bikes and sup, or to sleep. A young and exciting way of going to sea that has inspired various brands in the market both in terms of aesthetics and practical use. To celebrate this success comes a new model, heir to the first and highly appreciated Axopar 28. It will be available in three different versions: Cross Cabin, Sun Top and Spyder.

In 10 years of production, the “old” Axopar 28 has proven to be the right boat at the right time with 2700 boats delivered. Big numbers also translate into big experience. From this comes the Axopar 29. First and foremost, the new series will have a more powerful outboard engine using the latest Verado V10 from Mercury. The fuel tank has also been enlarged to increase capacity and thus range.

For now, we do not have many details about the new Axopar 29, as we have not yet climbed aboard. While waiting to see it in Düsseldorf 2024, we try to understand what will change.
We can say that the design has been revised, bringing it closer to the aesthetic taste of newer models such as the Axopar 45. From the renderings there appears to be a higher and more pronounced freeboard, but also a new deck layout. In the bow there will be new forward-facing seating and an L-shaped sofa that can become a U-shaped sofa or lounger as an option. There will also be new optional aft cockpit configurations designed for more socializing on board.
Below deck there will finally be available 4 beds, which are in great demand in the market. This will also make it possible to take part in longer outings with family or friends.
Pricepoint has always been a hallmark of Axopars. They are not given away for free, that’s for sure, but the starting prices are definitely attractive. The price of the new 29 has not yet been revealed, but it will most likely be in line. The addition of new options and new engines could make a difference in this regard, but only with the debut will we have more certain data.
At the maintenance level, meanwhile, we can say that the new living work and updated construction methods have led to better efficiency in navigation. The Axopar 29, larger than the 28, will have almost the same weight and can also be used with engines of equal power.
“The Adventure Collection” will be offered and integrated into the first 100 Axopar 29s to leave the factory in 2024.
