Pardo Yachts, the dedicated powerboat brand of Cantiere del Pardo, announced a preview of the Pardo GT65 at Boot Düsseldorf. Pardo’s new 20-meter walkaround will make its debut at next year’s Cannes Motor Show, 2025, but we already know many details starting with the propulsion, which in the most powerful version will be entrusted to Volvo Penta IPS 1350 engines.
Pardo GT65 – Exterior
The project The Pardo GT65, entrusted to Zuccheri Yacht Design for naval architecture and Nauta Design for interior and exterior design, fits within Pardo Yachts’ GT crossover range between the two Pardo GT52 models (unveiled in 2022) and the Pardo GT75 that we will soon see in the water.
In terms of exteriors, the stylistic choices are in continuity with the other models in the line, with a large sundeck characterizing the aft area, jutting out from the spacious swim platform, which hides the retractable tender-garage, capable of accommodating a tender up to 3 meters in length. Separating the sunbathing area from the lounge area on deck is the back of the large transverse seat that serves the central convertible table. Instead, leaning against and protected by the deck house we find an L-shaped sofa and another seat, next to the only glass door leading to the interior.
Helping to maintain contact between indoors and outdoors are not only the panoramic windows and the large aft tilting window, but also the sliding sunroof that illuminates the salon with natural light. From the comfortable walkways you reach the forward area, inverted in profile, free and open to the deck in full Pardo Yachts style, which on the GT65 is equipped to accommodate many people between the two sundeck and seating areas and convertible sofa.
Interior
As for the interior, in the salon we find the dining area-with a C-shaped sofa and table-and the console-with wheelhouse and two single seats-on the right side, while on the opposite side is the full kitchen or a second sofa in line. A treat is the retractable television, which thanks to a mechanism can rotate 180° and, with the tilting window, becomes visible even from the aft cockpit. Future owners of the Pardo GT65 will be able to choose between two different configurations: galley on the main deck or galley on the lower cabin deck.
The first version-the standard version-allows for a large forward master stateroom with a transverse-oriented double bed, desk and sofa. The second version, on the other hand, reduces the space of the owner’s cabin to place the galley, and the V-shaped double bed is leaning lengthwise against the bow. Both versions include a second double cabin, amidships on the starboard side, a third twin cabin with single beds, and a crew cabin with independent access. There are two bathrooms on board, both private and with showers.
The last technical notation, so far the only one we know of, concerns the motorization of the most powerful version of the Pardo GT65, which will be equipped with Volvo Penta IPS 1350 engines.
