Large Italian open boats, such as the Rizzardi, are boats capable of immediately bringing to mind the golden age of powerboats. Mediterranean style, but above all Italian, for hulls that still fascinate, especially owners in our country. And it was precisely in the Peninsula that a new GR Sessantatre, a model in the range named after Gianfranco Rizzardi, the founder of this shipyard, was sold.

Rizzardi GR 63

The GR Sixty-Three is a 20-meter boat from the shipyard that focuses strongly on its qualities as an open, high-performance boat. The line is the one we know. Clean and attractive, for those looking for a pure, no-frills open that can stand up to fashion. These Rizzardis are like that. Able to go beyond trends. For example, it is enough to pause and look at the bow shapes or the side air intakes to understand how the yard aims to combine the elements of sportiness and style. The shipyard, then, focuses strongly on what are the possibilities of customization. This talk also concerns the interior, in this case customized to the taste of its owner with a 3-cabin layout. On the bridge deck, this version includes a roll-bar with double awning, towards the bow and aft to protect the cockpit. On the aft bridge is located the tender-lift.

Technical characteristics of the new Rizzardi: the motorization

Let us now turn to some more technical aspects. That’s right, because a medium like this is not only form, but also function.

Top speed, in this case, is not too pushy also because the boat mounts classic shaftlines tied to two Nanni engines of 900 horsepower each. A total, therefore, of 1,800 horsepower, thanks to which this GR Sessantatre achieves a top speed of 34 knots, but more importantly a comfortable cruise of 26 knots with an overall consumption around 190 liters per hour. Fast cruising speed is around 29 knots.
