On Saturday, July 5, Honda Day at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli this year offers special attractions for boating enthusiasts, with a dedicated Honda Marine booth and an exclusive opportunity to try the top-of-the-line outboard engine in the water.
Visitors will have the opportunity to participate in sea trials aboard 2 Honda-powered boats at the nearby Portoverde Marina in Misano Adriatico: Altamarea Wave 35, an 11.30 m f.t. inflatable boat (watercraft) equipped with twin BF350 engines (maximum allowable power), and Ranieri International Next 275, equipped with a single BF350, 8.2 m f.t., 2.55 wide with 4 beds.
In addition, at the Honda Marine booth in the Misano World Circuit paddock, attendees will be able to see other engines in the range, including the 2.3, 40, 150 and 250 hp models, and find out more about the technical features and technology thanks to the experts on site and the official Honda Marine dealer Fonti SNC, who is present both at the circuit and at the marina.
The BF350 is Honda Marine’s flagship V8 outboard engine, designed to deliver maximum performance with the best possible fuel efficiency. The BF350, which we have already discussed, offers boaters a number of features and functions that are typical only of Honda outboard engines, such as the largest cubic capacity in its class, which ensures consistent torque delivery over a wide rpm range.
Sea trials aboard boats equipped with Honda BF350 engines at Portoverde Marina are available by reservation only. Information and reservations can be made directly at the Honda Marine booth located in the paddock during the event. After confirmation, participants will have access to the dedicated pier for sea trials.
The Honda Day event aims to create a festive atmosphere, bringing together the entire Honda family with product displays from all Honda divisions. The famous circuit will be entirely reserved for Honda Day activities on Saturday, July 5, with track entry allowed for customers who own eligible Honda motorcycles. The day will also feature special guests such as riders Johann Zarco and Somkiat Chantra, along with Team Principal Lucio Cecchinello.
